Joana Tomomi Sumikawa

Graduated in Biological Sciences at Mackenzie University (2000), Master in Molecular Biology at Federal University of São Paulo (2003), PhD in Sciences (Molecular Biology) at Federal University of São Paulo (2007) and Post-Doctorate at State University of Campinas (Genetics - 2009) and Federal University of São Paulo (Gynecology - 2019). Has experience in Biochemistry, with an emphasis on Macromolecule Chemistry, working mainly on structural characterization, kinetic studies and application of protease / peptide inhibitors to increasingly understand the interaction / action / function of macromolecules, in order to develop therapeutic and economical products.
