Lucas Viani

Graduated in physics at Universidade Estadual de Campinas (2004), finished his master's thesis physics in the Universidade de São Paulo (2006) under supervision of Prof. Dr. Maria Cristina dos Santos. Got his Ph.D in the Laboratory for Chemistry of Novel Materials (Belgium) under supervision of Dr. Jérôme Cornil. From 2010-2012 had a postdoc position in the group of Prof. Dr. Jean-Luc Brédas in the Georgia Institute of Technology. Currently works as a postdoc in the University of Pisa in the group of the Prof. Dr. Benedetta Mennucci. Has experience in Theoretical Physics, focusing on Electronic Structure of Atoms and Molecules and Molecular Dynamics, acting in the following subjects: organic semi-conducting, energy and charge transport, supramolecular compounds and light-harvesting complex.
