Bachelor's degree in Naval engineering at University of Sao Paulo (1999), master's degree in mechanical-aeronautical engineering at Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (2005) and master's in fluids mechanics and heat transfer at Ecole Nationale Superieur de Hydraulique et Mecanique de Grenoble (2000). Doctor's degree in mechanical engineering at University of Sao Paulo (2012). The graduation work was focused on the analysis of Propeller Systems (vibration and control). The master studied were focused on the flow through porous media applying numerical simulation and turbulent modeling. The doctoral research was based on the field of computational aeroacoustics, the work consisted in the study of the noise generated by flow around a circular cylinder taking into account three-dimensional effects. Following the doctorate, participation in the project CNPq/FINEP entitled "Development of improved solutions by wind tunnel aeroacoustics tests focusing on the issue of external aircraft noise". The objective was to study the noise generated by fan using computational aeroacustics tools and the lattice-boltzmann method. In September 2014, I have started pos-doc at KU Leuven (Belgium), the work consists in studying and developing computational aeroacoustics tools applied to noise generated in confined flows such as flow through slit and valves. Following that (2017-2018), I have enrolled in a post-Doc program with University of Sao Paulo to do research for the Research Centre of Gas Innovation (RCGI), mainly involved in the supersonic separator (natural gas) project. Since 2018, I have a professor position at Federal University of ABC in aerospace engineering. I am involved in the fields of computational aeroacoustics, aerodynamics, Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), vortex suppression, aircraft design as well as research collaboration for the supersonic separator project (natural gas) of the Research Centre for Gas Innovation (RCGI).
