Rafael Augusto de Mattos

B.Sc. in Physics at Institute of Physics from University of São Paulo/Brazil (IFUSP-2003) and M.Sc. in Physical Oceanography at Oceanographic Institute from University of São Paulo/Brazil (IOUSP-2006). Qualified on Ph.D. program in Computational Modeling at National Laboratory for Scientific Computing (LNCC/MCT). Professional experience in the Operational Oceanogrphy Group of Petrobras and System Modeling Division at Institute of Marine Studies Admiral Paulo Moreira of Brazilian Navy. Currently: [1] collaborator at Signal Processing Laboratory (LPS/LNCC) and Ocean Dynamics Laboratory (LaDO/IOUSP); [2] scientific computing consultant and Python programmer/developer at AMBIDADOS company. Scientific interests: nonlinear multiscale dynamics of atmospheric and oceanic waves; time-space data processing and analyses; development of computational solutions in Python language to Operational and Applied Meteorology/Oceanography.
