Graduated in Electrical Engineering from UFMG, PhD in Electrical Engineering from UNICAMP and Post-doctorate from the University of Manchester-UK. He has experience in the field of Electrical Energy, working mainly on issues related to energy distribution, state estimation, distributed generation, renewable energy sources, fault location and electrical mobility. He was Vice-coordinator of the SBA Power Systems Technical Committee (2015 - 2016). He is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Systems and Energy (DSE) of the Faculty of Electrical and Computer Engineering at UNICAMP (FEEC / UNICAMP).
