Karina Dias Espartosa

Has graduation degree in Biological Sciences by Universidade Federal de São Carlos (2005) and has Master dagree in Ecology by Universidade de São Paulo (2009) focusing on terrestrial large mammals and landscape ecology. Currently, she is a teacher for high school and Biological Sciences Degree at Instituto Federal do Paraná (IFPR), campus Assis Chateubriand, and develops research and extension projects with focus on environmental education. From 2015 to 2018 she was the coordinator of the Licentiate in Biological Sciences and is currently coordinator of PIBID (Institutional Scholarship Program for Teaching Initiation) on campus.Has experience of eight years in environmental licensing projects, environmental monitoring and planning, and in evaluation of accordance with environmental legislation, with focus on biotic issues. In this experience, has conducted field work and office activities as fauna specialist, and carrying out team and thematic coordination. Presents 16 years of experience with Environmental Education projects, conducting interpretative trails, environmental studies trip for high school, and acting in Environmental Education Program for licensing process.
