Natália Yumi Noronha

I hold a degree in Biological Sciences, an MBA in Data Sciences and Analytics, and specialization in Sports Nutrition from the University of São Paulo. I am a Biotechnology Technologist from the University of Ribeirão Preto and have a specialization in Quality Management and Sanitary Hygiene of Foods from the Claretianos College. My research spans areas such as Systems Biology (FMRP-USP), Cellular and Molecular Biology (UNAERP/FMRP-USP), Nutrigenomics (FMRP-USP), and Epigenetics (University of Groningen - UMCG).Throughout my career, I have received Brazilian funding, including from FAPESP, PIBIC, PUB/USP for Scientific Initiation, FAPESP for Technical Training, CAPES and CAPES-PRINT for Direct Ph.D., and FAEPA-HCFMRP/USP for Return to Country Aid, as well as CNPQ for Visiting Specialist.Internationally, I have been awarded travel grants to present my work abroad and completed three internships during my Ph.D. at the University of Birmingham (UK), University of Trento (Italy), and Universidad Autónoma de México. Currently, I am a fellow of the Abel Tasman program (University of Groningen) and the International Society for Children Health and Environment (ISCHE).My research interests include a healthy lifestyle, lifestyle effects, health interventions, DNA methylation, and nutritional genomics. I am seeking partnerships for public health projects aiming to study strategies for promoting well-being and quality of life. In the realm of education, I serve as the President of the Brazilian Institute of Epigenetics (IBEE) and coordinate the ABRACADABRA project, focused on science outreach.I value quality public education, the Unified Health System (SUS), and strive to contribute to society whenever possible.
