Adriana Vitorino Rossi

My training involves Chemistry Degree (University of Campinas -UNICAMP, 1987) and Teaching Education (UNICAMP, 1995), MSc in Analytical Chemistry (UNICAMP, 1990) and PhD in Analytical Chemistry at UNICAMP (1995). Associate Professor at the Institute of Chemistry - UNICAMP since 1996, Underdraduate Coordinator of Institute of Chemistry - UNICAMP from 2015 to 2019 and Director of Education of the Exploratory Science Museum -. UNICAMP from 2006 to 2011. Coordinator of subproject (Chemistry Teacher Education) of PIBID - UNICAMP from 2010 to 2018. Participation in several courses to Teachers of Chemistry and organizing events for the teacher, as SIMPEQ Symposium for Professional Teaching of Chemistry, created under my coordination in 2000, with the seventeenth edition held in 2018 and Chemistry in Action (since 2013 under my coordination), funded by CAPES (projects of Novos Talentos programme). I work in the field of Chemistry, with emphasis in 1) Analytical Chemistry, with projects to develop procedures for the extraction and analysis of natural compounds, such as anthocyanins and capsaicinoids, exploring new materials and different approaches for chemical analyzes (including a technology licensed product) and 2) Chemistry education with research involving scientific communication, teacher education and Analytical Chemistry in Higher Education. I adviser students in masters and doctoral studies of the Graduate in Chemistry Programme of the Institute of Chemistry - UNICAMP the Science and Mathematics Teaching Graduate Programme PECIM-UNICAMP.
