Mariana Marchi Santoni

Biologist, with a Master's degree in Genetics and Evolution, a specialization in Education, and a Ph.D. in Biotechnology. Most of her academic training was carried out at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) between 2002 and 2008. She later completed a specialization at the University of São Paulo (USP) between 2011 and 2012, and earned her Ph.D. in Biotechnology at the Institute of Chemistry of Araraquara (UNESP) from 2019 to 2022. She currently works as an academic support assistant in a multi-user Molecular Biology laboratory at the School of Pharmaceutical Sciences of UNESP in Araraquara, performing activities related to the preparation of biological material for molecular analyses, including DNA, RNA, and protein extraction. She also carries out analytical procedures such as PCR, qPCR, Sanger and next-generation sequencing, Western blotting, and protein purification. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
