He holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics from the State University of Santa Cruz - BA (2004), a Master's (2006), and a PhD (2011) in Geophysics from the University of São Paulo. Between 2009 and 2010, he interned at the University of Maryland, College Park (United States) as a collaborator (sandwich PhD). He is currently an Associate Professor II at the Institute of Physics at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA). He has experience in the field of Geosciences, with an emphasis on Lithogeochemistry and Isotope Geology (Os-Nd-Pb-Sr-Hf), primarily focusing on the study of the Chemical and Isotopic Evolution of intraplate magmatic events (continental and oceanic), aiming to understand Petrogenetic and Geodynamic processes. He is also currently involved in the application of stable and cosmogenic isotopes (14C) in environmental studies. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
