Georges Abboud

Master, Doctor and Lecturer in Law from PUC-SP. Lawyer, Professor of Civil Procedure at PUC-SP and of Procedural and Constitutional Law at IDP - Brazilian Institute for Teaching, Development and Research in the Federal District. He has more than a decade's experience in advocacy and consultancy in strategic and highly complex litigation in public and private law. He is a Legal Consultant, Expert Witness in material and procedural law in international litigation.He is also the author of more than a dozen books on law, including Constituição Federal Comentada (2. ed.), Direito Constitucional Pós-Moderno (2. ed.), Pareceres (currently with four volumes covering private and public law), Processo Constitucional Brasileiro (6. ed.) and Ativismo Judicial (2. ed.). He was a member of the Chamber of Deputies' committee of jurists for the systematization of legislation on the Brazilian constitutional process and of the Federal Senate's committee of jurists for the development of the normative framework for Artificial Intelligence.
