Professor of Medicine at the State University of Montes Claros (UNIMONTES), specializing in Clinical Pathology, Microbiology, Immunology, and Physiology.With 18 years of proven experience as a professor and researcher in the health field, I currently serve as a permanent faculty member in the Department of Pathophysiology at UNIMONTES. My professional journey also includes 14 years in management roles, having worked as Superintendent of the University Hospital of UNIMONTES (HUCF), Coordinator of the Biomedicine program, Coordinator of Medical School Practices, and General Manager of the Clinical School at UNIFIPMOC (NASPP - Health Care and Professional Practice Center).I hold a degree in Biomedicine from the University of Uberaba (2003), a Masters in Biosciences Applied to Pharmacy (2006), and a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences (2011) from the University of São Paulo (FCFRP-USP). My doctoral research focused on the purification of biotechnological products and the biological activity of natural compounds. Throughout my thesis, I conducted studies and developed scientific products that confirm the therapeutic potential of essential oils.Since then, I have been advocating for the benefits of natural products in health care, working as a Clinical and Integrative Aromatherapist.
