Doctor Professor at the Institute of Physics (INFIS) at the Federal University of Uberlândia (UFU). PhD in Physics from the University of São Paulo (USP), at the São Carlos Institute of Physics (IFSC). In his master's and doctorate, he developed works in the field of experimental atomic physics, more specifically in the study of collisions involving cold Rydberg atoms and loading of dipole traps (optical trap) and magneto-optical traps (MOT). The use of optical lattice in atomics sample became possible to create initial systems that present a high degree of organization, that is," atomic crystaliine lattice without defects. In this project we consider to imprison Rydberg atoms of Rubídio in a optical lattice and to study the formation of "trilobits" molecules and the colision supression between Rydberg atoms. (AU)
