Vera Lucia Szejnfeld

Holds a degree in Medicine from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of Santa Casa de São Paulo (1978), a Master's degree in Rheumatology from the Federal University of São Paulo (1989) and a PhD in Rheumatology from the Federal University of São Paulo (1991). She is currently an adjunct professor at the Federal University of São Paulo and coordinator of the Osteometabolic Diseases sector of the Discipline of Rheumatology at UNIFESP / Escola Paulista de Medicina. Member of Febrasgo's Osteoporosis Committee. Member of the Committee on Osteoporosis and Osteometabolic Diseases of the SBR. Has experience in the area of Medicine, with an emphasis on Rheumatology, working mainly on the following topics: osteoporosis, bone densitometry, osteometabolic diseases, glucocorticoid-induced osteoporosis, osteopenizing diseases, in addition to other rheumatological diseases.
