Graduated in Physics from the University of São Paulo - USP, Master and PhD in Sciences in the area of #8203;#8203;Laser Remote Sensing from the University of São Paulo - USP, she is currently a post-doctoral student in Nuclear Technology at the Institute of Energy and Nuclear Research - IPEN. He was a post-doctoral fellow at the Escola Politécnica da USP - POLI USP (2016-2018), working on a CEPID FAPESP project entitled Research Center for Gas Innovation - RCGI where he carried out research in the area of #8203;#8203;developing a multichannel lidar system for detection of particulate matter and trace gases in the atmosphere. He completed a sandwich doctorate at the University of Bremen in Germany to study optical models of electromagnetic radiation scattering and mathematical models of particle distribution. Currently developing a research project in the area of #8203;#8203;Radioactive Waste Management for surface decontamination using laser ablation techniques. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)

It is intended to evaulate the aerossol vertical profile by means of the elastic and Raman scattering at 355 nm , 532 nm (elastic) and 387 nm and 660 nm (Raman). Besides it will be able to determine the vertical structure in the Planetary Boundary Layer and its dynamics.
The main motivation of this research project is to develop a most suitable optical model for light scattering in soot. Once developed and validated, the optical model will be used to calculate the particle size distribution using inversion methods.
