Desenvolveu estágio de pós-doutoramento no Departamento de Química, Florida State University. Tem experiência de pesquisa na área de Físico-Química. Interessado em todos os aspectos da química, suas áreas de conhecimento abrangem especificamente eletroquímica, colóides, reações de precipitação, dinâmica não-linear e auto-organização.
