Graduated at Computer Science from Universidade Católica de Pernambuco (2002), master's at Computer Science from Universidade Federal de Pernambuco (2004) and Ph.D degree at Computational Physics from Universidade de São Paulo Instituto de Física de São Carlos (2009). Postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Computer Science, Universidade Federal de São Carlos (2010-2012), with a scholarship from FAPESP and researches focusing on image analysis and classification applied to polarimetric SAR remote sensing.
