Birthplace: Brazil

I have got my BA degree in Physics from the State University of Campinas (2004), MA in Physics from the State University of Campinas (2007) and Ph.D. in Materials Science from the Universidad Autonoma de Barcelona - España (2012). He is currently a researcher as a postdoc at the Institute of Physics of USP - São Carlos. My research mainly focuses on semiconductor nanostructures materials, both of them with elements of row IV semiconductor alloys as columns II-VI and III-V. The study of these materials is accomplished by spectroscopic measurements, particularly using optical and electrical properties. Raman scattering experiments and Fotoluminecência are used as techniques for the study and characterization of new materials. Both techniques are studied with high hydrostatic pressure, which is the theme was my doctoral studies in which emission and absorption of light across the range of the electromagnetic spectrum were investigated under high hydrostatic pressures (P> 1 GPa).
