Graduated in Medicine from the Faculty of Medical Sciences of the State University of Campinas (Unicamp) in 2009, De Montanhesi specialized in Cardiovascular Surgery at Hospital Beneficência Portuguesa de São Paulo in 2014. In the following years, she was board certified by the Brazilian Society of Cardiovascular Surgery, and became a member of the International Society for Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery (ISMICS). She worked for 6 years as a cardiac surgeon in the Heart Transplant team at the Israelita Albert Einstein Hospital (SP), acquiring extensive experience in Heart Failure and Mechanical Circulatory Support. She was also part of the Minimally Invasive and Robotic Cardiac Surgery team at hospital Israelita Albert Einstein and Hospital Moriah (SP), contributing to the implementation of Robotic Cardiac Surgery in the country. She has extensive experience in Intensive Care, with a focus in Cardiac ICU. In 2022, she completed the Fellowship Program in Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgery at Western University in London, Ontario, Canada, and returned to Brazil to share her experience in Robotic Cardiac Surgery and contribute to the development of the specialty in the country.
