Graciele Almeida de Oliveira obtained her B.S. in Chemistry and her PhD in Biochemistry at the Chemistry Institute of the São Paulo University (USP). She also has a degree in Educommunication from the School of Communication and Arts at USP. She is a Specialist in Science Journalism with a post-graduation at the Laboratory of Advanced Studies in Journalism at Campinas University (UNICAMP). She obtained her post-doctoral training at Federal University of São Paulo (Unifesp) and was a Guest Researcher at the National Cancer Institute (NIH-US). She is a former President of The Brazilian Network of Science Journalists and Communicators (RedeComCiência). Nowadays, she is a researcher at the BINGO-ABDUS project, where she develops strategies related to Science Popularization in astronomy. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
