He holds a Bachelor's degree in Physics, with an emphasis on theoretical/experimental training from the Institute of Physics at São Carlos (2006). He obtained his Master's degree in Applied Physics also from the Institute of Physics at São Carlos (2008). He earned his PhD in 2011 through a double-degree program between the University of São Paulo and Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany. On the German side, he received the "Summa cum Laude" distinction, the highest honor awarded in the German academic system. He conducted postdoctoral research at Technische Universität Darmstadt and the Institute of Physics at São Carlos, focusing on understanding transport processes influenced by different morphologies in polymeric systems. He also carried out a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford University, working in the field of bioelectronics and neuromorphic memories. He has expertise in organic electronics and bioelectronics, with an emphasis on materials and devices based on mixed conductors.
