Oceanographer with a degree from the Federal University of Rio Grande (2001) and a Master's in Science with an emphasis in Biological Oceanography from the University of São Paulo (2007). Currently serves as an Environmental and Water Resources Development Agent at the Technical Coordination for the Rio Doce Crisis Response (CTECAD), within the State Institute for the Environment and Water Resources of Espírito Santo (IEMA).Extensive experience in the counting, identification, and analysis of phytoplankton groups, having provided consulting services to institutions such as the Brazilian Institute for Environmental Research Support (IBRAPAM) and the Foundation for Aquatic Studies and Research (FUNDESPA). Also worked in phytoplankton counting and identification as an Environmental Analyst at Ambipar, and as a Researcher in Environmental Analyses at the Espírito Santo Foundation for Technology, participating in the Aquatic Biodiversity Monitoring Program (PMBA). This program supports public interest reparatory actions related to the environmental impacts of the Fundão dam collapse on aquatic biodiversity.Holds multidisciplinary experience with a focus on Biological Oceanography, mainly working in the areas of phytoplankton ecology, biomass, primary production, and both qualitative and quantitative phytoplankton analyses.
