She holds a Licentiate and Bachelor's Degree in Physics (1990) from Universidade Presbiteriana Mackenzie (Sao Paulo - Brazil); Master (1994) and Doctorate (2000) in Nuclear Technology - Applications, from the Institute of Energy and Nuclear Research/University of São Paulo (IPEN-CNEN/USP-SP) and Post-Doctorate (2006) in Materials Engineering, from the Universidade of Sao Paulo (USP-SP). She has experience in the area of #8203;#8203;Nuclear and Materials Engineering, in the following lines of research: Nuclear - production of radioisotopes in cyclotrons and nuclear reactors, irradiation systems, nuclear medicine and radiopharmacy; Materials - material processing with 2.45GHz microwaves for: recycling/recovery/reuse of polymeric materials; diesel contaminant reactions, in order to reduce contaminant levels, such as hydrogenation and oil filtration (in reaction and continuous systems); study of the synthesis of rare-earth particles; study of biodiesel production from vegetable oils and solid components. Participant in the winning team of the IPEN Technological Innovation Award (2014). Participant in the finalist team for the ANP Award on the general theme Transport, Pipelines, Refining, Supply and Biofuels (2019). She is currently a researcher, pursuing a Post-Doctorate (2022), at the Center for Chemistry and the Environment (CEQMA) of IPEN-CNEN/SP, in the synthesis of reduced graphene oxide, to agro-residues (sugarcane and jackfruit), assisted by microwave.
