Graduated in Biological Sciences from the University of São Paulo (2007) and earned a PhD in Sciences (Cell and Tissue Biology) from the University of São Paulo (2010). He has a postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, San Diego, and the University of São Paulo. He has experience in the field of Morphology with an emphasis on Histology and Cell Biology. Currently, he is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Applied Sciences - UNICAMP, investigating the effects of amino acids and their metabolites on muscle trophism and liver regeneration; the role of E3 ligases, and levels of ubiquitination in the hepatic and muscular regenerative processes.
