Heloísa Alves Silva Marques

She is graduated in Cartographic Engineering, Master and PhD in Cartographic Sciences by the Programa de Pós-Graduação em Ciências Cartográficas (PPGCC) da Universidade Estadual Paulista "Júlio de Mesquita Filho" (UNESP). Currently, she is professor in the area of Geodesy and Spatial Positioning of the Cartographic Engineering Section of the Military Engineering Institute (IME) in Rio de Janeiro / RJ. She has worked in the area of Geodesy teaching about subjects of positioning by GNSS and planialtimetric positioning in undergraduate course. In the postgraduate course, she teaches the subjects of Adjustment Computation and Positioning by Satellites. Her research area focuses on issues related to the ionospheric effects mitigation on positioning, especially the ionospheric scintillation effects. She also works with investigations about stochastic and functional modeling of GNSS coordinates time series. (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
