Geologist at University of São Paulo, Faculty of Philosophy, Sciences and Letters (1969). Mineral Engineering PhD at University of São Paulo, Polytechnic School, Mining Engineering and Petroleum Department (1996).Beginning the professional actuation at geology consulting company, later in mining engineering company, migrated to be employee at mining companies. In 1993 jointed the research staff of São Paulo University, both at the Geological Institute and the Polytechnic School Mining Department. After retirement, from 2007 to 2016, I returned to mining companies as a consultant. From 2016 to 2022, inter the Mines and Energy Ministry acted at the Geology, Mining and Mineral Transformation Secretary in the functions of Department Director (2016-18), Assistant Secretariat (2019-2022) and Secretariat (2022). After 2024 get into the mining sector under the structure of the Environment, Infrastructure and Logistic belonging from São Paulo State Government.Professional expertise in segments of Geology and Mining Engineering, with emphasis on Characterization of Mineral Raw Materials, accumulated large experience in sectors related to mineral prospection and research, orebodies evaluation, mining and mineral processing.Federal Government professional exercise, at Mines and Energy Ministry, in regulation acts as well as in public policies and plans related to the Brazilian Mineral Sector, supervision of mining rights concessions, construction of National Mining Policy, elaboration of Mining and Development Plan and Nacional Mining Planning 2030.Academic experience at Geosciences Institute of University of São Paulo, acting as graduation and post-graduation teacher, as also as research, for mineral resources subjects; supervisor of mineral laboratories; member of interdisciplinary Councils; AD-HOC consultant for scientific associations.Professional activities as employees of mining companies, with gold and tin research and exploitation areas of actuation; also, activities at consulting companies and individual expertise, dealing with a broad spectrum of metallic and non-metallic ores. Coordination of revision/actualization/computerization processes and procedures related to orebody modeling and ore studies, establishment and innovation of mineral laboratories.
