Holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from FCT/UNESP (2006) and a Master's degree in Computer Science and Computational Mathematics from ICMC/USP (2009). Currently, he is an Academic Support Assistant and Administrative Advisor at DMC/FCT/UNESP. He has managed and supported the high-performance scientific computing cluster at the Numerical Simulation Laboratory (LSN/DMC/FCT/UNESP) and has worked on the numerical simulation of non-Newtonian flows with a free surface. This work is the follow up of the work of my Ph. D. student Cassio M Oishi, who is developing an implicit Newtonian code for the simulation of free surface flows. This work aims at upgrading that code to cope with viscoelastic fluids modelled by the Oldroyd-B model. (AU)
