Universidade de São Paulo (USP). Instituto de Química (IQ) (Institutional affiliation from the last research proposal) Birthplace: Brazil
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry with option in Technology from the State University of Londrina (2004), Master's degree in Chemistry (Analytical Chemistry) from the University of São Paulo (2007), Ph. postdoctoral fellow at the Institute of Energy and Nuclear Research (2013). He was an analytical researcher at the VTT Technical Research Center of Finland (2013-2014), responsible for the development of new analytical methods for the determination and characterization of elements by ICP OES and organic compounds in liquor, by HPLC, after biomass fermentation for ethanol production of second generation. He is currently an application specialist at PerkinElmer, working with mass spectrometry targeting expanded neonatal screening. Works in the area of Analytical Chemistry, with emphasis on Optical Methods of Analysis (atomic absorption spectrometry and optical emission with inductively coupled plasma), as well as mass spectrometry coupled to high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) applied to organic analysis and determinations elementals in traces and ultratraits, aiming at fundamental studies and the development of methods for determination of total concentrations of organic and inorganic compounds, of chemical speciation of elements and in biological, food, environmental and technological products and biological species samples by MSMS in diagnosis clinical.
