As for scientific activities, he has published more than 200 original papers in scientific magazines with high impact index, including Nature, author of several chapters of scientific books, author of 12 patents on products and processes in biotechnology and nanotechnology areas, he has also oriented 23 doctorship theses and 25 mastership dissertations and has been supervisor of works of 18 post-doctors.
