Holds a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design from UNESP (2004), a Master's degree in Industrial Design from the same institution (2007), with research focused on physical ergonomics and occupational biomechanics, and a Ph.D. in Design (UNESP 2014) with a focus on cognitive ergonomics, usability, and user experience. He is an Associate Professor at the State University of Maringá (UEM), where he teaches and conducts research at both undergraduate and graduate levels. His areas of expertise include Design and Ergonomics (physical and cognitive), with emphasis on the following topics: User-Centered Design (Usability and UX), Inclusive Design, Design and Innovation Methodologies, and Social Design (Social Innovation and Strategic Design). He also serves as a course evaluator for INEP/MEC. In university administration, he served as the coordinator of the Design program at UEM for three terms (20102012 and 20142018), head of the Planning and Information Division in the Office of Planning and Institutional Development, and currently holds the position of Head of the International Projects Division at the Office for International Cooperation at UEM.
