Graduated (1984) and completed Master (1987) and Ph.D. (1995) course in Mechanical Engineering at the Sao Carlos Engineering School University of Sao Paulo. At 2002 and 2003, he was at Biological Systems Engineering of the University of Nebraska Lincoln and ARS-USDA as a Scientist Visitor. He is currently a researcher at Embrapa Agricultural Instrumentation. He has experience in Mechanical Engineering and Mechatronics, with emphasis on Agricultural Instrumentation and Automation, acting on the following topics: instrumentation for Precision Agriculture, Agricultural Robotics, Sensing, High Resolution and Embedded Electronics in Agriculture Machinery.
