She holds a Bachelor's Degree (1988), a Master's Degree (1996) and a PhD (2002) in Literature from the University of São Paulo, where she has taught since 1998 at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels in the area of Portuguese Literature. Post-doctorate in Romance Studies at the Faculty of Letters of the University of Lisbon (2016) - FAPESP scholarship holder. Research focused on modern and contemporary Portuguese Literature and its relations with Ethics. Leader of the research group NELLPE (Núcleo de Estudos de Literaturas de Língua Portuguesa e Ética), at the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences of the University of São Paulo.
