Doctor in Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from Universidade Estadual Paulista - Júlio de Mesquita Filho (FCAV/UNESP) (2004). Master in Veterinary Medicine from Universidade Estadual Paulista (2008). PhD in Veterinary Medicine in 2012 (Preventive Veterinary Medicine) from FCAV/UNESP, with a Visiting Scholar period at the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. Post-Doctorate Fellowship at FCAV/UNESP (2012-2013). Currently, he is an Associate Professor at FCAV/UNESP, teaching classes in the disciplines of Veterinary Parasitology I and II, Animal Parasitology and General and Human Parasitology. Professor and Advisor in the Stricto Sensu Postgraduate Courses in Veterinary Medicine and Agricultural and Livestock Microbiology at FCAV / UNESP Jaboticabal and Lato Sensu "Residency in the Professional Health Area - Veterinary Medicine and Health". Member of the Internal Biosafety Commission of FCAV/UNESP. Member of the Graduation Council of the College of Veterinary Medicine from FCAV/UNESP. He has experience in Veterinary Parasitology, acting mainly in the molecular characterization and serological diagnosis of tick and flea-borne agents in domestic and wild animals (Anaplasmataceae, Bartonellaceae,Hemoplasmas, Piroplasmorida, and Hepatozoidae). Treasurer of the Brazilian College of Veterinary Parasitology (2017-2020). Assistant Scientific Editor of the Brazilian Journal of Veterinary Parasitology. Vice-Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Veterinary Medicine from FCAV/UNESP (2017/2021). Head of the Department of Veterinary Pathology from FCAV / UNESP Jaboticabal (2015/2020). Currently, the researcher establishes scientific collaboration projects with the Research Center at the University of Health Sciences and Naval Medicine (Bethesda, USA), Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, North Carolina State University (Raleigh, North Carolina, USA), Faculty of Sciences of Life and Environment - Biosciences, University of Exeter (Exeter, United Kingdom), Hebrew University of Jerusalem (Rehovolt, Israel) and Institute of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (Lisbon, Portugal) (Source: Lattes Curriculum)
