Felipe Merker Castellani (São Paulo, Br, 1984) is a sound and multimedia artist, researcher and professor. His current research has as problematic field the musical creation in relation with other artistic practices, like video art and contemporary dance, specifically in contexts of collective and collaborative creation. He has a Master and PhD degree in music in Creative Processes of the University of Campinas. Between 2013 and 2014 he held a research internship at the Université Paris 8. Between 2017 and 2018 he developed a postdoctoral stage at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.He participated of several events dedicated to the experimental artistic creation, like the New Music Festival (Br), the International Conferece of Sound Art (Br), the Sonorities Festival (Belfast, N. I), the Sonoimágenes Festival (Buenos Aires, Ar), the Arquinterface Exhibition (Br), Labmis Exhibition (Br), among otherCurrently he is a professor of the Center of Arts of the Federal University of Pelotas.
