Nathalia Bernardes

Professor in the Stricto Sensu Graduate Program in Physical Education at Universidade São Judas Tadeu and Researcher at Instituto Ânima Educação (Grants 34/20; 54/21; 37/23; 66/24). Leader of the Research Group: Physical Activity and Neurodevelopmental Disorders.Completed a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Education (Teaching License, UNICID 2021) and a Bachelor's in Physical Education (USJT 2006 Academic Merit Award; FAPESP Research Grant 05/60828-6). Holds a Master's Degree in Physical Education (USJT CAPES-2009), Technical Training (FAPESP 10/10606-5), and a PhD in Sciences from the Faculty of Medicine (USP CAPES-2016).Conducted a Sandwich PhD at St. Boniface General Hospital Research Centre - Canada (University of Manitoba CAPES DFAIT 7947-14-3) and a Postdoctoral Fellowship in the Medical Program (UNINOVE 2018). Has been teaching health-related subjects in higher education since 2012 and in graduate programs since 2017.Experienced in the field of Exercise Physiology, with a focus on the following topics: physical activity for special groups, therapeutic physical exercise, cannabis, and the autonomic nervous system. Currently a member of the research team in the CNPq/MCTI/FNDCT UNIVERSAL Call (422837/2021-0) and CAPES 16/22 Strategic Postdoctoral Development Program (PDPG).Collaborator in the National Research Network on Hypertension in Children and Adolescents (HASCA, funded by CNPq), the Student Heart Program (Department of Atherosclerosis/Brazilian Society of Cardiology and Government of the State of São Paulo - Department of Education), and the Faca na Cadeira Institute for Adaptive Sports.
