Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry/Technological Chemistry (UEL), Master's and Doctorate in Analytical Chemistry with emphasis in Chemometrics (UNICAMP), postdoctoral in Chemometrics Applied to Crystal Engineering (University of Limerick) and MBA in Project Management (USP/ESALQ ). He is Associate Professor IV at the Department of Chemistry at the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar), guiding through the PPGQ of the same department, where he also served as Coordinator of the Graduation Course and Tutor of the Tutorial Education Program (PET). He was part of the board of directors of the teachers' union (ADUFSCar) in addition to having performed several other administrative activities at UFSCar. He works strongly in extension activities, having developed projects with several large companies, especially in the pharmaceutical sector. His research, projects and articles are mainly related to Chemometrics, Pharmaceutical Technology and Food Analysis, involving the following topics: vibrational spectroscopy (IR, NIR, Raman), liquid chromatography, thermal analysis, green chemistry, analysis and characterization of pharmaceuticals, Process Analytical Technology (PAT), Quality by Design (QbD) and synthesis and analysis of pharmaceutical polymorphs and cocrystals. He is leader of the Applied Chemometrics Group at DQ-UFSCar, having contributed to the training of human resources that work in several companies and as professors at UFPR, UFSCar and IFMA.
