I have been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Geography at the Institute of Geosciences, University of Campinas (IG-UNICAMP), since 2023. I served as a Visiting Researcher at the Latin American and Caribbean Centre of the London School of Economics and Political Science (LACC-LSE) between 2019 and 2023, and as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Energy and Environment of the University of São Paulo (IEE-USP) between 2018 and 2021. I hold a PhD in Human Geography from the Faculty of Philosophy, Letters and Human Sciences of the University of São Paulo (FFLCH-USP), awarded in 2017, and was a Visiting Researcher in the Department of Geography at the University of California, Berkeley, between 2015 and 2016. I also hold a Masters degree in Habitat from the Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism of the University of São Paulo (FAU-USP), awarded in 2011, as well as Bachelors and Teaching degrees in Geography from FFLCH-USP and the Faculty of Education of the University of São Paulo (FE-USP), respectively, obtained in 2007. Since the outset of my academic career, my research has focused on the analysis of the political, economic, cultural, and environmental dynamics of urban and regional spaces, with particular attention to those located in the Global South.
