Alexandre Gurgel

graduate in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (1997), M.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Norte (2000) and Ph.D. in Physical-Chemistry of Colloids, from University of East Anglia (2004). Lecturer/Full Professor at the Federal University of Vicosa (UFV/Brazil). Experience in Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, acting on the following subjects: commercial and synthesized surfactants, ternary phase diagrams of self-assemblies, properties and applications of classical microemulsions, microemulsions in supercritical CO2, applications of surfactant systems as corrosion inhibitors.
