Medical doctor graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Catanduva (FAMECA) in 2009. Completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine of Marília (FAMEMA), followed by a residency in Hematology and Transfusion Medicine at the Hospital das Clínicas of the University of São Paulo Medical School (HC-FMUSP), and a residency in Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation at the Albert Einstein Israeli Hospital. She earned a PhD from the Department of Biotechnology at the University of São Paulo and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Bone Marrow Transplantation and Cellular Therapy at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, from July 2016 to April 2019. She currently serves as the Medical Coordinator of the Advanced Cellular Therapy Program at the Albert Einstein Israeli Hospital and coordinates the Lato Sensu Postgraduate Program in Cellular Therapy at the same institution. She holds board certifications in Hematology and Transfusion Medicine and in Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation, both granted by the Brazilian Association of Hematology, Hemotherapy and Cellular Therapy (ABHH). She has received numerous academic and scientific awards, including recognition as the top student during medical school, an honorary award as resident by the XL graduating class of FAMEMA, and a research scholarship from the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP) from 2006 to 2009. In 2021, she was awarded the ASH Global Research Award, in addition to other national research grants. She has authored scientific publications in high-impact national and international journals and has received awards for presentations at medical conferences in Brazil and abroad.
