From 2002 to 2007 was professor at Unimep (Methodist University of Piracicaba); from 2009 to 2012 was Assistant to the Scientific Director at the Brazilian Bioethanol Science and Technology Laboratory (CTBE) and responsible for the scientific management of the Basic Science Program.
