Expertise in polymer electrolyte membrane and ionomer synthesis for electrochemical devices, and electrocatalysts for PEMFC and AEMFC uses. Strong background in electrochemistry fundamentals, as well as oxygen reduction, hydrogen oxidation, and ethanol oxidation reactions. Ph.D. in Physical-Chemistry at the University of São Paulo in São Carlos Institute of Chemistry (Brazil) with one year done at the University of Surrey (United Kingdom).
