Pharmaceutical Biochemist (2012) from the University of São Paulo, with a Master's degree in Drugs and Medicines (2014) and a Ph.D. in Fundamental Chemistry (2020), also from USP. He is currently a professor at Centro Universitário São Camilo (CUSC), where he teaches courses in general and medicinal/pharmaceutical chemistry for undergraduate Pharmacy and Biomedicine programs. He coordinates the Molecular Sciences Innovation Group (GICMO), mentors the Academic League of Medicinal Chemistry (LAQME), and leads the Vocal Music Extension Project (Panda Vocal), which fosters the integration of scientific training and artistic expression within the university setting. He is the creator of QF Turbo Integrated Training in Medicinal Chemistry and actively promotes science through social media (@fredson.torres on Instagram and YouTube). His experience in Medicinal Pharmaceutical Chemistry includes drug design for neglected diseases, chelation therapy, and the integration of computational and experimental methods.
