Abstract
The Neuromyelitis Optica (NMO) is a disease triggered through recognition of the Aquaporin 4 [Homo sapiens] (AQP4), water channels protein expressed in astrocyte foot process, by the anti-Aquaporin 4 antibody (anti-AQP4).
