Julio Carlos Teixeira

I hold a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Escola Politécnica of the University of São Paulo POLI-USP (1983), a specialization in Electrotechnics with an emphasis on electrical machines, a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of São Paulo (1988), and a Ph.D. in Electricity from the Institut National Polytechnique de Grenoble, France (1994). I worked for 22 years at the Institute for Technological Research of the State of São Paulo (IPT), coordinating teams in research and technological development projects. I am currently a Full Professor at the Federal University of ABC (UFABC), working in the field of electrical machines and their drives. I have experience in Electrical Engineering, with emphasis on electrical machines, transducers and magnetic materials, wind power generation, and testing of electrical equipment and materials.
