Maria Cecilia Coutinho de Arruda

Has a degree in Economics from the University of São Paulo (1973), master's in Administration from Fundação Getulio Vargas - SP (1981) and Ph.D. at Administração from Faculdade de Economia, Administração e Contabilidade - USP (1986) and post-doctorate at Ethics and Advertising from The City University of New York, USA (1987). She retired as an Associate Professor at the Escola de Administração de Empresas de São Paulo da Fundação Getulio Vargas, SP, Brazil. She was the president and is currently the Executive Director of ALENE- Asociación Latinoamericana de Ética Negocios y Economia (Business Association of Business, Economics, and Ethics,) member of the Scientific Council of RGSA - Revista de Gestão SocioAmbiental, member of the Editorial Board of the African Journal of Business Ethics, member of the Ethics Council of ABAP Associação Brasileira de Agências de Publicidade (Brazilian Association of Adverstising Agencies), member of the Body of Consultants of the Universidade Norte do Paraná and member of the Group of Excellence in Ethics and Sustainability, of the CRA-SP - Regional Council of Administration - São Paulo, member of the International Scientific Committee of the IV International Simposium of Social Responsibility in the Organizations (SIRSO), member of the GEGE - Group of Studies on Governance and Ethics (Brazilian Institute of Corporate Governance), member of the Scientific Committee of Benchmarking Program Brasil.
