Iara Aparecida Beleli

PhD in Social Sciences from the State University of Campinas (2005). Researcher B at the Gender Studies Center - Pagu since 2010. Since 2019, she has been a full professor on the multimedia postgraduate course at the Institute of Arts - Department of Multimedia. She is a member of the Red de Investigadores sobre Apropiación de Tecnologías and the Center for Research on Differences, Human Rights and Health. Her reflections focus on the convergence of various media, crossed by the perspective of gender in conjunction with other categories of difference. In the last five years, she has dedicated herself to research on the extreme right and hate speech, analyzed from the perspective of feminist and gender theories in dialogue with communication theories.
