Graduated in Computer Science from the Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) in 1998, holding a Master's degree in Computer Science from the Postgraduate Program in Computer Science at UFSCar, in the area of Software Engineering, obtained in 2001, with the dissertation titled "Data and File Management in Collaborative Virtual Environments on the Internet for Educational Applications," developed in a Germany-Brazil cooperation at the German National Research Center for Information Technology in Sankt Augustin, Germany. Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in the area of Digital Systems from the Postgraduate Program of the Polytechnic School of the University of São Paulo (EP-USP), with the thesis titled "PICaP: Patterns and Personas for Expressing User Diversity in Interaction Design," developed at the Technology and Software Laboratory in the Department of Computer Engineering and Digital Systems (PCS) of EP-USP, with results applied in the e-Poupatempo (Government of the State of São Paulo), completed in April 2008. Joined the Centro Universitário da FEI Fundação Educacional Inaciana Padre Sabóia de Medeiros, in the second semester of 2003, where he is a lecturer responsible for the Human-Machine Interface course in the Department of Computer Science. Supervisor of Master's and Ph.D. students in the Postgraduate Program in Electrical Engineering at FEI, in the Applied Artificial Intelligence to Automation Group (IAAA). Served as a supervisor in the Professional Master's Program in Computer Engineering at the Institute for Technological Research (IPT). Coordinator of the Usability Engineering Laboratory at FEI and the RoboCup@Home Project of the RoboFEI Service Robotics Team. Recognized for participation in committees and event organization, highlighting the most recent contributions: Special Committee on Robotics, Brazilian Robotics Olympiad, and Brazilian Robotics Competition, as well as being a member of the Organizing Committee (OC) in RoboCup @Home. Part of the Executive Board and coordinates the robotics area at the Institute for the Valorization of Education and Research in the State of São Paulo (IVEPESP). He mainly works in the following areas: Human-Machine Interaction, Human Factors, Human-Robot Interaction, Internet of Things, Software Engineering, Intelligent Systems, Adaptive Interfaces, and Autonomous Intelligent Robotics.
