He holds a bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from FEJ/UDESC (1987), a master's degree (1996), and a Ph.D. (2000) in Electrical Engineering from UNICAMP. Since 1988, he has been working as a Technologist at the Renato Archer Information Technology Center - CTI, also serving as the Head of the Hardware Systems Design Division from 1998 to 2009. He coordinated the CITAR / FINEP Project, focusing on the development of methodologies for Radiation-Hardened Integrated Circuit and electronic systems design for Brazil. This project also aimed at expanding and enhancing the infrastructure of national laboratories dedicated to testing the effects of Ionizing Radiation on electronic components, primarily for aerospace applications, and extending their use to various other fields. He has contributed as a collaborating researcher at UNICAMP/FEEC, engaging in research in the field of ASICs and integrated sensors, including photodiodes, for applications in the visible and infrared spectra. Within the scope of the CI Brazil Program, he served as the Coordinator of the DH CTI/CNPq Project from 2006 to 2010. He has accumulated experience as the coordinator of several projects funded by FINEP, BNDES, CNPq, and other development contracts, utilizing resources from the Informatics Law, since 1993. Additionally, he conducts research in the field of Energy Generation and Conversion Systems optimized for the use of clean and renewable primary energy sources, resulting in registered and granted patents in this area.
