Specialist Title obtained by the Brazilian Society of Endocrinology and Metabology (SBEM) and Doctorate at Clinical Medicine from State University of Campinas. Assistant Professor, Doctor MS-3.2, Discipline of Endocrinology and Metabolism, Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medical Sciences, State University of Campinas. Works in the area of Endocrinology with an emphasis on Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus and chronic complications; Coordinates the adult Type 1 Diabetes Service at Unicamp Clinics Hospital and the Education Group, with a multiprofessional team dedicated to assistance and research, focusing on the psychological and psychiatric aspects of Type 1 Diabetes as well as in strategies to improving adherence to drug treatment and glycemic control. Acts as collaborator of the group of Thyroid Nodules, including the Thyroid Ultrasound Service and the Fine Needle Aspiration of Thyroid Nodules.
