She holds a Bachelor of Science degree (to be professor of in training teachers) in mathematics from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1979), a B.A. from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1978), a master's degree in mathematics education from the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo (1993) and PhD in Didatica da matematica-Université Joseph Fourier-Grenoble I (2001). Assistant professor of the Pontifical Catholic University of São Paulo, in the program of postgraduate studies in mathematics Education and Department of Mathematics. She has experience in Mathematics, with emphasis in Mathematics Education, working mainly in the following subjects: teaching-learning, statistical and financial education, teacher training. textbook. Participates (vice-coordinator) of the research group Pea-mat, coordinated by prof. Dr. Saddo Ag Almouloud, which is currently developing a research project in partnership with the DIMAT group of PUC-Peru. As a subgroup of the PEA-MAT group, she coordinates the CEPEF group, aggregating students who research on combinatorics, statistics, probability and financial education, both in aspects related to teaching, learning and teaching materials. Thus, the field of research in which the oriented papers are inserted is that of Statistical Education and Financial Education, dealing with teacher training, analysis of teaching materials (particularly textbooks), elaboration and validation of learning situations, diagnosis of conceptions of students and teachers. Researcher and collaborator of GT12-Teaching of Probability and Statistics, belonging to the Brazilian Society of Mathematical Education - SBEM, from its foundation to the present day.
